WDSL is an independent laboratory whose pathologists have served the Central Coast for over three decades. We stand committed to our focus on quality and high standard of care. We work with your healthcare provider to provide your diagnosis and assist in getting you the best treatment possible.

What is Pathology?

Pathologists are physicians specialized in diagnosing biopsies under a microscope. This requires correlation between what your healthcare provider sees in his office and what our pathologists see under the microscope. It is crucial to receive expert care when it comes to the interpretation of your biopsy. Our dermatopathologists specialize in skin, oral, and eye biopsies, our cytopathologists specialize in fluid and gynecology samples, and our hematopathologists specialize in bone marrow biopsies and blood samples.
